Start menu shortcuts and office word and onenote dont work after malware attack

I downloaded malware by mistake and it hid all files and folders. So I got rid of the malware.

1. run unhide.exe

2. do system restore to a few days ago

3. run attrib -s whatever function that is and it unhides everything

4. run malwarebytes and get rid of all shit

now the problem is some things work like chrome and vlc media player but office word and ontenote are not working and it says "something went wrong we couldn't start your program " and when i try to reapir it it shows another error

Im scared of reinstalling because it will erase my data.

Another problem is shortcuts no longer work anymore start menu shortcuts dont work at all.

What should I do?
