I have to press the windows key 3-10 times for the start menu to open. Keyboard works fine(checked online ). The menu opens just fine when I click on it to open. The RUN function
using WIN+R keys works everytime, but when taking screenshot WIN Key+Printscreen key ,shot is taken but earlier it used to show an image taken on screen by a short animation now nothing happens
but the shot is taken .Assuming this has something to do with display. Works fine in safe mode. Happened today even though I only installed Office in system today.
Don't know what is causing it and it is really irritating. Found a similar thread mentioning where it took some seconds to open the menu but in my case it doesn't open ,
till I have pressed it many times. Also I just installed windows 10 pro and all new drivers(GPU).Any ideas to fix this?

There are two main differences between safe mode and normal
One is start up programs, though on a clean install there shouldn't be too many of those. Could be a conflict.

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any Microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

doesn't remove anything, just stops all non Microsoft programs running with startup. Easily reversed

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

Other difference between safe mode and normal is drivers. Does the all new drivers extend to everything?

I must have missed your reply

I could look at drivers and see if anything that stands out
Can you download and run Driverview - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

All it does is looks at drivers installed; it won't install any (this is intentional as 3rd party driver updaters often get it wrong)

When you run it, go into view tab and set it to hide all Microsoft drivers, will make list shorter.

Please take a screenshot from (and including)Driver name to (and including)Creation date.

upload it to an image sharing website and show link here

its difficult to isolate drivers from starting.
it could be counter productive just disabling them randomly

You can use this to stop them running with windows but if an application needed the driver, it would start it so this isn't a perfect solution - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns and even then I would be selective with what to stop running

is it a wired keyboard? does it have its own software?
