Start Menu!!! Why are you over there!!!??

Hey everyone!

I have 3 monitors that are consolidated into one monitor using Nvidia Surround. I prefer to have the task bar in the center, however, the start menu likes to open up all the way to the left hand side. I know there have been others with this issue as well in the past, but haven't seen anything posted recently. Just curious. Does anyone know if there was ever a fix for this? Or if there is a fix on the way for it?

i think it does that based on what monitor you have as number 1 in Display settings. If you have number 1 as the far left then win 10 puts start menu there. See if you can make the middle monitor number one by dragging the boxes around.

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately though, its not setup as 3 different monitors so I can't move them around like that. All three monitors have been combined to make 1 monitor. So I only see 1 wide display and not 3 separate displays.

one solution

This isn't the best answer, but this is what I did. I installed a add-on program from Stardock Software. Their software visually customizes windows 10. Once installed I was able to get the task bar to my middle screen.
