Starter Build Systems

Hello everyone.
I once more, *sigh*, have another person wanting a PC built ever since I started putting them together.
But this one is unique, he wants to learn more about them instead of having to ask me.
He has an $800 budget and I told him my usual line, pay for parts-I provide service (building it)
I managed to through these two builds together for specific reasons

-AMD Build http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=26851308

I told him the Intel computer would be good for some all around learning and the AMD would be good for learning more on the CPU since Callisto realistically has two more cores and AMD is more equipped for OC'ing compared to an i3. I also told him, the more he learns, the more effectively he'll know how to use the machine.

Before he makes his pick, I just want to make sure those look good to you all.
What do you say, are they good starter sets?

I would get on newegg's email promos list; I get about 3 newegg emails a week. You might save some with those or get a slight upgrade on the ps or other items with one of the specials. I also found several non k used cpus recently on craigslist cheap; all around $100 including one 2400s, 2500, and 2600.
