Hi! I'm running a computer lab in a primary school and I want to be able to
start an application in all computers in my network (about 15 computers) at
the same time rather than going to each computer and start it myself.

Once I heard about a backdoor program that let this kind of operations.
Any ideas?

You could run a startup script. Do you have the lab on a domain? If you
don't, consider getting a server and setting up a domain. This will
give you the centralized control that is necessary.

www.sysinternals.com has a freeware tool called psexec that is part of their
pstools collection. It allows you to start programs on remote machines. You
could write a short script to have it run on multiple machines.

Easy. Say, "Now, students, each of you start <insert program name>."

If the problem is still unsolved, I can write an app in Visual Basic to
do that for you. Just e-mail me.
