Question Starting to second guess myself (GPU choice)

I’ve recently put together a productivity build for game development (UE5), 3D modeling & video editing. I have started to buy components of my build piece by piece that go on sale/discount.

My build includes an RTX 4080 for my GPU which I haven’t purchased yet. As I research more, I’m realizing the card does not offer great price to performance value compared to previous series.

Given the current outrage around NVDA, I’m debating if I should spend the $1200 on the 4080 or if I should go with a cheaper card for now to hold me over and wait for the 50 series to come in Fall 2024.

What would you recommend I do? Could you point me to another card that would work with my productivity build should I stray away from the 4080?

Not a fan of your SSD choice. I would prefer a higher quality offering, like one from Samsung.

Can you wait for Fall 2024? If you can, then I suggest you do that.
