Question Startup issues on new build.

Hi all,

I am fairly new to building computers, so haven't been able to work out what's wrong and would really appreciate a bit of advice.

When I start the computer is takes just less than a minute to get to the point where you can enter the bios (i.e. the screen where you hit del for bios). From there it loads windows in a matter of seconds, and is very quick (installed windows in less than 10 mins). I can't work out why in needs that minute to initiate start up.

Things I have checked:

• tried a different gpu
• changed the bios priority
• disconnected any USB devices
• reduced the ddr speed back to 2100 (from 3600)
• disconnected the USB3 and audio connectors from the motherboard

Let me know what you guys think, or if you need any more information.
