Startup problems b2 and flashing underscore

Ok so i recently bought a new case and i have re built my pc, I have put in a new CPU and new ram. Everytgimg else is the same. When i start the pc i get B2 in the bottom right corner then the screen changes to black with a flashing underscore. I changed the SATA cable and had 98 , A2 , B2 the n the black screen with flashing underscore. Ive tried alt f10 and pressing delete but nothing happens

Do all your fans spin up when you turn on the system? What kind of motherboard is it? B2 is usually 'Console Output/Input devices/Console initialization & Load Option ROM (VGA, RAID, parallel ports, serial ports. Not very helpful...

Do you have multi BIOS? Try switching it to the backup BIOS.

Make sure all power connections are properly connected.

Try another video card just for testing if you have one.

Make sure RAM is seated properly. If you have multiple ram sticks, try one at a time in slot 1
