startup problems in dell vostro

Hey guys..i have a dell vostro n series since the past 5 yrs ..my laptop wont even start..i drained all the battery..charged it back..still the caps lock signalling switch blinks 5 times and the screen wont show a thing.i hope somebody comes up with solution
