Installed some Windows updates and did the post install restart and it went to startup repair but it says it cannot repair this computer automatically, have had this happen before and would normally restore to a before I did the update but it's saying I have no restore point to go to. Tried running the repair from the Windows disc but that doesn't work either. Anything I can do or do I have to reinstall?

No problem, glad to be of service. Sorry about the typo's - I was answering this on my way home from work, on a bus lol.

Also, a fresh install is always nice. I perform one 1-2 times a year. At least now you can boot into Windows and easily back some things up :)
