I just finished my new build and tried to use my old HDD that has WINDOWS 7 and it gives me 2 options: “launch startup repair” or “start normally”

When i launch the startup repair and it asks if I want to system restore I can’t choose any options because my keyboard and mouse do not work, but they are plugged in and working jn the BIOS. Help!

You cannot use existing Windows 7 that was originally installed with different hardware --- Windows 7 cannot deal with that.

You have to reformat the HDD and reinstall Windows on your new build.
Damn there goes all my data...so I can/have to reinstall windows 7 on that same hard drive? Is there a way to do it without a CD drive?
