Hey all, I just built a new computer, replacing all of the parts except for the PSU and my SSD. I realized that I have to do a new install of windows and essentially wipe my SSD, but how do I go about doing that when I cannot get past system repair?

Solution
Are you just trying to boot from the old SSD in the new configuration? Startup repair won't be able to run, but if you have some installation media you can do a fresh install - it won't truly wipe your drive because it should move everything you had to a Windows.old folder which you can still access. If you don't already have a cd, it is not difficult to create one - let me know if you need assistance with that.
