So, I decide to take out my video card today. I put on my anti-static wrist band but was distracted by my sexy wife... So, thinking that i was grounded to the case, i touch one of the video cards parts and we heard a sizzle noise The card was still connected to the mobo while this happened.

Could that shock traveled and damage my mobo or cpu because it was still connected?

Any feedback would be appreciated...

AHHH yea if the machine was turned on its probley smoked. Either way if u get no video from the card i would just RMA it if its under warranty. The board is probley fine. The chance is there that it could have got cooked but usually about 90 percent of the time it stops at the source.
