So i have static coming through my motherboard jack but no my case jack?
This has only happened after running a batch file to fix the windows start menu issue, im not sure what the batch file has done but no matter what i do with my sound settings the static wont go away and its even there on mute?
Before i ran this batch file my headphones have been fine using the motherboard input.

So it seems like a safe file and all but its fked up my sound, when playing music and stuff its fine but when i mute or im just idle the white noise is killing me, im very sensitive to sound my PC is basically built to be silent and now this has ruined it all but i cant have my start button not working.
Can anyone help me?
