Static from speakers when Increase Treble?

Bought this 3 months ago, it was amazing until a week ago when i kept hearing static and its driving me NUTS. please help

Try a different source just to be sure that the problem is in the system.
If the static goes away when you run the tweeters flat then you can't raise the treble that much without over driving the tweeters.
If the static is permanent then you may have damaged the tweeters. When you boost the treble it's just like turning the volume up higher for the tweeters.
They do have customer support.
