Question Static hardware noise when moving cursor after new mobo + cpu?

Just installed a new Gigabyte Z390 UD and a i5 9600K. Everything works well except for some odd hardware noise. There's some constant jitter and whenever I move my mouse I get high pitched static noise coming from the hardware (not the headphones running on seperate sound card).

Any idea as to what might cause this?

What were you working with prior?

Did you reinstall your OS after the upgrade? Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard.
