I recently started using a headset on my laptop (I have a Lenovo Yoga 520) for chatting to friends on discord.
On the old headset, my friends told me there was a buzzing/static sound whilst I talked, so I recorded my mic output and I could hear the buzzing/static. Recently bought a new headset and it worked perfectly today when I first used it, no buzzing noise. I go back to use it tonight, maybe 5 hours since I last used it and the buzzing/static noise is back. When I push the cable into the jack the noise reduces lots, almost disappearing.
Any ideas to stop this?
