static in my headphones

When I use a certain pair of headphones, i can hear a low static that grows louder when i scroll or do any activity on the screen. These headphones are the KOSS UR-20s, $25-30 headphones. When I use other pairs such as a sheap $10 pair of sentry headphones, there is no static. This does not ruin my computer usage but is very annoying and I woulc love a fix.

Turn off the microphone feature in control panel or unplug the microphone plug in out of the computer.
