i dont have problem with the dns when i change it but when i changed the from obtain an ip address automaticlly to use following ip addresess it losses my internet i cant do anything

What I Wrote
ip address 192.168.1.50
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.1.1
DNS Servers 213.42.20.20
195.229.241.222

so at 192.168.1.1 there is a router with dhcp on it and when ti gives you an ip address the internet doesnt work ? have you rebooted the router ?? then log onto it and see the dhcp settings

dhcp is the thing that gives out the IP addresses when you have it set to automatic. so in the router settings there will be some options.. like a range of addresses it can give out and what the gateway and dns settings will be etc..

ok in your router reserve your pc an IP address in the DHCP so your PC is set to automatic but the dhcp gives you the same one every time OR manually set on in your PC but outside of the address pool you have gave the DHCP to give out. like 192.168.2.1 or 0.1 just not 1.x

you might need to know the MAC address of your network card as that how they do it. they see a mac address and give it an IP .

ok do this. change the end address in the router DHCP pool from 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.1.244 so now we have 9 IPs we can use manually xx.245-254
then manually set your IP to 192.168.1.245 and the rest the same as you did. aslong ass the gateway is Default gateway 192.168.1.1 it should work.

ok thats strange. so set it back to automatic then find out what settings it gives you when it works ok..

"" Just open the Control Panel, click “View network status and tasks” under Network and Internet, click “Change adapter settings”, right-click the connection you're using, and select “Status”. Click the “Details” button under Connection and you'll see all the information you need to know in a list.""

we need to know the ip address the gateway the dhcp and the dns settings the last 3 should be 192,168,1.1 but lets see
