Hi! I need help regarding my computer display. I've been having static lines in my monitor for days now, after trying multiple things I found out that plugging my ethernet cable in different slot in our router actually lessens the static lines but its still there and that unplugging the ethernet on my computer completely removes the static lines. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've tried plugging my avr and router into different electrical outlet but it still has the same static lines. They just really go away when I unplug my ethernet and I've also tried using a different ethernet cable
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Have you tried changing the cable used to tether the router to the PC? If so, you might want to see if relocating the router to a standalone power outlet with grounding on it.
