Hello! So I just got a new custom rig from Ironside a few days ago. It features good components such as a RTX 2080 Ti, and an i9-9900k processor.

However, I noticed one thing weird. This is mainly noticeable when I play Fortnite, even if my headphones are completely muted, I hear static sounds coming through them. The intensity of the sounds goes up if I press buttons on the Fortnite interface, which is kind of intriguing...

I was on the phone with their customer service team, and we tried a few things, then they said it can be from electrostatic, which can go away after a few days.

I just wanted to know your guys' thoughts on this. I did wonder if this is because the system had a integrated sound card, not a dedicated one. (I didn't think I needed to opt in for a dedicated sound card for the build.)

That's basically the scenario. It's a rather irritating buzzing sound that I don't feel like living with after such a high-end purchase.
