My pc have recently begun making a static sound whenever it is playing any sort of sound. It gets worse when the volume is higher, and when there is no sound at all the noise is gone. I have tried to test it with a different headset, but the problem persists. My primary headset is Steelseries Arctis 7, and my other headset i have tested is Steelseries Siberia 200. The first is a wireless headset connected via USB, while the later is connected by a 3.5 millimeter jack. I experienced this problem with both of the headsets, so it is a problem with my pc.

Things i have tried already:
- Turning off different drivers in device manager, and listening if the noise was still there

- Updating drivers

- Reinstalling my sound drivers

- Using different ports

- Dissabling all enhancements in my headsets properties

- Changing the audio format

- Ressetting my pc

My system specs is:

CPU: i5 7500
Motherboard:  GA-H270-Gaming 3
Ram: 2 x Kingston HyperX fury DDR4 2400MHz 8gb
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5"
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 3.5" ST1000DM010 1TB 7200 rpm
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060  3GT OC
PSU: Corsair RM750x 750 Watt fully modular
OS: Windows 10 x64

I think that it might be a hardware problem, considering my different fixes. I suspect that something is wrong with the motherboards integrated soundcard, but I researched the topic and found that an USB headset should be its own soundcard. If this is the case, then my motherboards soundcard isn't to blame. Am I wrong in this? Or is there another part that might cause this problem? It is also possible that i am wrong in my assumption that it is a hardware problem, and if that is the case do you know any possible fixes to my problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Since both headsets rely on two different forms of audio transmission, you've only compounded the issue. 3.5mm audio would be powered by the Realtek audio chip, so you're going to need to look at drivers(and BIOS updates for motherboard) to resolve that. USB driven means that the audio is processed by the docking station/wireless pod which would need you to look at chipset/USB drivers(and BIOS update for motherboard) to resolve that issue.

See if uninstalling audio devices ad reinstalling the drivers/apps helps you out.

Thanks for the fast reply, i updated my BIOS to the newest version, and uninstalled my drivers, but the problem still persist. Do you have any other ideas?
