Question Static Noise in Headset When PC is Shut Down

Whenever I shut down my PC, I notice a constant static noise coming from my headset. The sound is persistent, but when the PC is turned on, it completely disappears. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

Do they use a USB connection or AUX?

im using the AUX one
