Static screen on monitor at some points

If I change a YouTube video or go on Facebook, my main screen just goes in static and I need to restart my computer to make it work again. In regards of games, the static thing does not occur. Can someone please help me and give me some suggestions.

Sounds more like a graphics issue than a monitor issue. Look for an updated driver, and try a different connection cable.
