When I open up chrome give said “status access violation “and if I leave chrome tab open after several seconds both of my monitor go black for a second and chrome force itself to closed. discord won’t even open up and give a “update.exe” after trying all the thing I look up on how to fix it, nothing work same problem. So I took it to a repair shop and they couldn’t find the problem (they rebooted window and some other stuff) now I’m waiting until tomorrow to take it to another repair shop. Want to see if anyone can help out

Solution
DISM - try again.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/deployment/fix-windows-update-errors

Apologies: mis-copied the link.

(If necessary just google "Windows update fix dism" to reach the Microsoft link. Dated 11/19/2021 - 6 minutes to read.)

"Stop working" - possible power related problems.

Multiple and varying errors are an indication (to me at least) that the PSU may be beginning to falter and fail.

However, that should have been something that the repair shop could easily determine - perhaps just a loose connection or unseated card and not necessarily the PSU.

Do you have access to another known working PSU that you can swap into your PC?

Question:

Current PSU - make, model...
Hold on going to a repair shop.

Are there any related errors being captured by Reliability History and/or Event Viewer?

Try manually uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.

Try running the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Then try "sfc /scannow" and "dism".

I don’t have chrome atm can’t download anything. Ubreakifix restart window and it have nothing beside edge (like it was a new pc)

Reliability history and event viewer just show “stop working” on many apps and files.

the sfc /scannow does not work due to not being an administrator even tho I am on the account
And for dism the link doesn’t work.

Also even if you are "on the account" you may not have some necessary administrative privileges. You will need help from the person who does have such privileges.

I use the first one “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth”
I get

error 1726
The remote procedures call failed

Second one
“DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess”

PSU wattage? The calendar age of a PSU is not a good indication of how the PSU is performing. PSUs provide three voltages (3, 5, and 12) to various system components. A problem with any voltage can cause multiple and varying problems. PSU's (as do many products) have a built in EOL (End of Life) that is actually dependent on use. Heavy gaming use, for example, may bring about a premature EOL.

However, a problem PSU should have been easily determined by a reputable repair shop.

Try to return to a stable state:

Uninstall Rune, Chrome, and Discord.

If the problems continue, then boot using Safe Mode to determine if the problems continue.

The objective being to return to a stable state without "status access violations", etc.. Once stability is re-established then install the applications one by one over a two or three days to determine if one particular application or combination of applications may be the cause. Some conflict amongst apps.

What source did you use for Rune, Chrome, and Discord?
