I'm trying to troubleshoot my new rig. It powers up, heatsink is lit, all mobo, cooler, and gpu fans are spinning and the back of the motherboard lights up but I don't receive a signal. The status LED's each light up one by one then stay off, and everything still runs but I don't get a signal.
If the status LED's are off does it mean that the components are ok and it is just a signal issue? Or does it just mean that they are receiving power but not are not necessarily working?
My monitor only has HDMI inputs, I attached the output to both the HDMI and the VGA out with a converter. Both to the GPU since my CPU doesn't have integrated graphics.

GPU: GTX 970
Cooler: EVGA CLC 240
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8) DDR4 DRAM
