I have previously asked the forum (here: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2849603/steam-build-cpu-gpu-question-worth-upgrade.html ) about upgrading my old rig to run a steam game off my primary rig with my lesser system in a remote Rome hard wired off my home network. With the Black Friday sales and all is this worth buying (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014QVM2KO?tag=slickappfp-20&ascsubtag=5b8c2e2a96ec11e5abd532ef7c3245580INT&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_%3C%2Fp%3E%3Cspan_class=%27ellipsis%27%3E...%3C%2Fspan%3E%3Cpre%3E%3Cspan+style%3D%27display%3A+none%3B%27+class%3D%27hiddenText%27%3E%3Dox_sc_act_title_1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) understanding I would need to get a better gpu, or can I build something considerable cheaper and stronger?

Again. I plan to use steam and my primary rig to do the brain work and rendering and just need the secondary system to be able to do what is necessary to provide for a strong enough slave system.

Thanks!

Yea, as long as your wireless router is good enough, or just use a wired connection, any half decent toaster can do it aswell as the steam link.

i was told different earlier here....so please confirm. In my office at home I have:
setupi7-4790K | Gigabyte GA-Z97MX | Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler | Corsair
Vengeance Pro 16GB RAM (DDR3-1600, 2 x 8GB) | Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB
Solid State Drive | WD Black 4TB | Gigabyte GeForce GTX970 4GB Windforce 3X
Video Card | SeaSonic 660W 80+ Platinum PS | Running Windows 10

In my basement I have a race simulator ( http://www.hyperstimulator.com/2013web/ ) that feeds of off USB with a 52" display and th
E need to use a mouse and keyboard. So I need something to plug these things into in my basement and use the strength of my primary rig in my second story office. What DO I need to do that? Thank you so much for your help and hopefully huge savings.

Order a steam link from steam for 50 USD, make sure you have a good wireless router, or run a wired connection to the steam link. Then connect the video cables out of the steam link into your tv.
