Steam chat not working, but Skype, Origin, and even Xbox chat works

I always use steam chat with friends and can not play without it since Cs go uses the default steam chat microphone. I use a Logitech G930 USB headset that has worked in the past, but after the 29th of October everything went downhill. Please only suggest solutions not alternatives.

List of "Solutions" I have tried: (I'l try and update it)

• 
  -Uninstalling steam/reinstalling
  -uninstalling mic drivers/Logitech software and reinstalling
  -changing default mic to the G930
  -Restarting router (80mbps speed so band with is not an issue)
  -Restarting computer (Duh)

This problem will be my top priority until this is fixed!

Hi,

One solution that I can suggest that should fix it right away is System Restore it back to a date before the problem started happening.
- Click Start then Settings and click on Update & Recovery.
- Click Recovery on the left pane and then Open System Restore.
- Just follow the onscreen instruction until it shows you calendar.
- Select a date prior the problem happening and click Next then Finish.
