Steam download slower than my download speed

I tried change my download region etc.
but nothing worked for me.

So you should be getting 1.4/1.5mbp/s.

Have you tried changing to another region closest to you and seeing if that works?

Are you on a wireless network card or ethernet cable?

Perhaps check your task manager and see the strengths it pulls there.

It really doesn't matter what your download speed is, if the Steam servers are experiencing a high load then the Steam download speed will be abysmal.

This is especially bad during times like the Summer and Holiday sale, or when a new hyped game launches.

Does this happen all of the time for you?
