What the heck is going on with the title? As it's shown in the news stream:
"Valve's popular game store and launcher is finally ready to place nice and easy with Sony's controllers."

Is Tom's not allowed to say "Steam" on the front page ? o__ô (Or have correct words? Or have a more concise headline?)

It's PLAY, not "place nice and easy" !

That would be an extra tree fiddy 😏

What exactly does this mean? PS controllers have generally been well-supported in Steam for years (though, minus the specific details on the store page that gives you more info about how well controllers are supported), the biggest issue is that the DuelSense features only work when the controller is connected via USB cable. I assumed this update would make it possible for these features to work over Bluetooth, but I didn't see any mention of that...?

SteamOS is a Linux based operating system. As such, Valve had to wait until Sony completed it's work of creating a Linux driver. They were probably keeping an eye on multiple different controllers, I'm not entirely sure. Apparently Sony has completed up to Valve's standards.

Here is some idea of what it means.

EDIT: I initially read all of this in the news article as a Steam Deck thing, but I may be wrong about that. Oh well.

But proofreading is hard! 😆
Yeah or your like me and tend to be a less than perfect with your grammar, especially if any late nights or 'first things in the morning' are involved. Things happen but we can sure poke fun at them when they do!

But yeah more on topic, support wasn't exactly horrible before but I am always happy to see improvements in the pipeline. Maybe they can get the feel of those triggers feeling closer to PS5 on Sony's PC releases.

I'm sooooo glad they added support! Now the games I was playing that had Dualsense support now launch with steam telling me that my controller is not supported and it tries to force its own controller emulation stuff even though I've disabled it in the settings of steam and the game profile.
