PC specs
cpu: ryzen 5 1400
gpu: geforce gtx 780
psu: 500w
ram:8gb
hardrive: 1tb wdblack

Issue im having is games constanly crash first it was a game not connected with steam and lowered the graphics a bit and stopped having issues. Then i started playing steam games and was crashing on both games i would play on steam. Sometimes it just freezes, randomly just closes, and now my pc randomly just restarts on itself while im playing games. Ive been recommended to format and reinstall everything again and not much has changed all my steam games seem to crash still. Also the gpu is refurbished by inno3d which the graphics card comes overclocked incase that makes any difference.

Solution
Nvidia's base specs for the GTX 780 requires a 600W PSU: https://www.geforce.co.uk/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-780/specifications
Could be minor variations for board partners but you'd need to identify the precise model your graphics card is.

I would want to eliminate the PSU as a possible cause. You could check Event Viewer (assuming you're using Windows) to see whether there is further information regarding software closing/crashing.

Software-wise, you could try verifying game files.
