[Steam] Help! Settings keep resetting on a game!

I didn't say that the game was rocket league because i knew i wouldn't get anyone clicking. So a few days ago my previous control settings and cars and stuff on the game just sort of paused, and now they revert back every time i restart the game. I've made sure files aren't read only, and i don't think my steam cloud is full, Any advice? This doesn't just apply to rocket league generally i think.

how about deleting all settings file???
when u restart, it would rest and start with basic settings.
NOT the save file.

Also, this only started happening a couple of days ago. No idea why, i haven't done anything but play normally.
