Steam In-Home Streaming

Looking to get a small inexpensive pc to use as a steaming client in the living room from my main rig.
My question is if a celeron CPU in a Brix or the NUC is enough to be streamed to with minimal lag. Or do I need a Core i5 with discreet graphics?
I plan on connecting both with a gigabit Ethernet connection so the network won't be much of an issue.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Seriously though, is what Steams lists for required hardware:

System Requirements
Windows XP, Vista, or 7
512 MB RAM
1 Ghz or faster processor

Obviously, the better the processor, the better most games will play. I'm not sure I would want to be trying that on a Celeron today. I would want to be more along the lines of a I5-4440.

An I5 and dedicated graphics are not needed and would have little to no affect. The receiving box is not doing the processing.

So its not even handling his input or displaying the stream? There is no video decoding or any of that going on?
