Steam Instantly Closes After Launch

Everytime I open steam, it comes up with the log in box and then immediately closes. This problem started out of the blue because earlier today steam was running fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled steam several times, no luck their either.

i had this problem, go to your programs 86 folder and delete the steam folder, then go to uninstall steam. Next do a re-install. If this does not work, try to login as another useer

I have the same issue but I cannot sign in to another user if the login window closes on its own
