hey guys , Its been a while that i have trouble finding retail version of my favorite games . they are all sold digitally online , even if you buy the disk you gotta download online .

ok heres my situation . im ok with buying them online But im going out of united states for a while and i come back after a year or two and i wanna be able to play my games . Now some games that you buy can be registered online and then you have them forever . but some games like steam games have all that regional restrictions and confirmation and stuff which makes its a bit annoying

Qustions

1.I wanna buy games like Arkham knight or Phantom Pain or Hitman . is Steam my Only option ?

2.Lets say i bought the games from steam , i go out of the country and im trying to play the game . is it possible ?

3.I want to buy Batman Arkham Knight but im also going to iran for awhile and in wanna be able to play my purchased games . what are my best options ?

4.People who live outside the united states . how do they buy PC games ?

5.If i buy a game for 60$ can i provide more CD Keys for more family members with much lower price ? or im screwed and i gotta purchase the same game for all the family members ?

thanks 😀

As someone who lives in the UK and regularly travels to the USA, I can confirm that Steam doesn't care where you are :)

You can use offline mode to game without using the internet if your Iranian connection has a problem with Steam.

You can use the family option in steam to share games - it won't work with offline mode though. You get a 5-minute overlap for multiple players to be logged into one account. Beyond that you really should buy one copy of a game per person anyway, otherwise that is technically piracy. Popular multi-player games on Steam very often have 4-packs for sale at a very reduced price.
1. You can buy those games not from Steam but in the end you will get only code for Steam activation.
2. and 3. You can play those games anywhere you go
4. I buy games from Steam too (Germany, Indonesia)
5. Steam games are tied to your account....ummm...yes...1 game/person...there is a way to share the game but it still can run only 1 at the same time. (as far as I know)
