Steam not loading game and tried to restart but got stuck on restart screen

hey, just built a pc and been playing games on steam. I just launched super hot and the launcher came up and i clicked play. nothing happened so i waited for a few minutes. I then tried task manager and that wouldnt load up. then firefox to come onto here but that didnt work either. i went to restart my pc and then it got stuck on the restart screen. is this a error with my pc or steam? what can i do to fix it? Thanks

Try to restart it manually by clicking restart button or holding power button instead of doing it from your desktop.

Ye thats what i did and everything is fine now but what do you think could have happened? Any way i cant stop it in the future?

I cant point you the reason of your problem. It might have been some kind of a random windows lag
As long as you dont have any issues with your computer there is no reason for any "repair" actions.
