Today I installed 11 on my rig after I built in an M.2 drive. All good there.

Now, I had my games on an SSD installed and usually Steam suppose to recognize them. Oddly, it does not.
Now the weird part is, I suppose to be able to select the folder destination, but this isn't an option anymore. Every page I found states clearly to go under setting, select download and there I should see at the top "steam library folder". instead, I have "download region".

Under settings again, to see the folders, under download, is storage. There I can select the drive (in my case D:) but when clicking on the setting button (three dots) and select "brows folder", it just opens up the folder itself. Not able to select the destination where the games are.
It does state, however, that it finds games on it, but still can't recognize them.

Downloading the games isn't too much of a hassle, but still odd that steam itself cant even recognize them. I have done it a few times without any issues but now with 11 installed, the layout is a bit different on steam itself.

Any idea why this happens?

Most of the instructions are for the old Steam layout. I see the same thing as you do.
