So I moved fallout 4 from drive d to drive f (hdd-ssd)today but when open the game taskmanager* says that drive d is at 100% and drive f is at 1-2% why is that? it messes my game completely up and makes it unplayable. how to fix???
Did you actually reinstall the game on the SSD? Or did you just copy and paste the files and then try to launch it?
i copied it to the ssd. deleted it from the hdd and told it to download on the ssd and steam then found the files and installed some missing files from the game
Within the Steam client; To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder
i know how to move it and so i did but when i open fallout 4 which is on the ssd not the hhd. the stress on the hdd stil increases from (idle) 0-2% in taskmanager* to around 90-100% . is it supposed to be like that?

Where is the OS?
Where is the Steam client?
Where is the Save data for the game?
Where is your pagefile?
OS is on C:
Steam is on E:
the save data is at C:\Users\krist\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves
and im not sure where or what page file is but maybe this helps https://imgur.com/gallery/WQrpG
