Hi guys, just bought this setup day before yesterday, this is my first entry into PC gaming, been on the original Xbox and PS3/PS4 till now and with the Steam sale going on I'm hoping to get caught up on some franchises/games I never played.

I've read some reviews, but I want to know from you guys what games I NEED to get on Steam. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is my type of strategy game so I'm definitely getting that for $7.50, and I want to play Far Cry 4, I've heard that it's a completely different story from Far Cry 3, but having never played the game before should I get it for $7.50 as well? I heard it's an amazing game, and the single player campaign is well worth it. So I'm probably getting both of those, anything else I should get? Currently all I have on my Steam account is Sins of A Solar Empire and Civilization 5, once I get my new rig and can run some better games I'll get Titanfall probably, and some other big name titles, but I don't want to miss out on some of the smaller gems that don't look like much on the surface. Thanks!
