Steam Saves Seperatly

Okay, so what I want to do is I want to have two different Skyrim saves on my laptop and on my Desktop both with different characters. how do I accomplish this without jacking the save on my pc up because my PC one has mods and my laptop one won't does this have something to do with the steam cloud? thanks.

I don't think this is possible on the same account unless you disable/enable the mods whenever you swap between those saves.

Did you get Skyrim SE when it was a free upgrade? Steam considers the two to be separate games - you can have both installed at the same time. So you run the old Skyrim on your laptop, and Skyrim SE on the desktop (or vice versa) and the same games shouldn't overlap.
