Steam support turnaround time

Steam account was hacked from Russia or the Ukraine or something. Submitted a ticket August 24th - haven't heard anything back yet.

There appears to be no way to contact them by phone.

Is Steam support really that entirely useless? What's the average turnaround time?

Every time I have dealt with steam support it was within a few days (Requesting refunds).
However, long turnaround times are not unheard of, especially considering the level of your ticket.

So...nearly 2 months for them to actually address the ticket. Wow. That's a new level of incompetence.

Could also be related to how many accounts that have been hacked that needs to be individually investigated on top other existing tickets. If you were holding ticket #25,000 and they were working on #9,000 at the time you logged your complaint, then yeah... expect to wait awhile.

There was probably a large breach and you were low on their list of many users. That is my best guess.
Im surprised it took that long, but given the complexity of the issue its not unheard of... Its not like they lost the ticket, because you never would have heard back.
