Hello,
I installed Empire Total War on a previouse laptop and set up the steam account with the login info and all that b s. Unfortunately the laptop was unable to play the game so it got put away for a year or so. Now I have a lap top that will play the game but I don't have the login info to activate the game. There are no phone numbers to call any one and according to there support page if I don't have the orignal reciept I cant reuse the key. Even if I did there is a 90 day period to do so ths is monopolizing and is not fair to the consumer. I am the original owner of the game and its useless trash?? any one have any suggestions or help thanks

You do remember your E-mail that you used with the account you set up with Steam? Because when you click on the "I forgot My Password" you will have to enter your E-mail.

That way they will send you a temp password for you to get in and set up a new password. The reason that Steam does what it does is to protect you from piracy and of course the Devs.

Once you do what was stated you should not have any problem unless someone has hacked your account or you have done something for steam to band you from using them.

One more thing you can buy the game for about 14 dollars if you look in the right places. I hope you get this worked out because I have all the total war games and Empire is a good one. Good luck to you.
