Steam wants me to install GTA V, when I already have it installed

A while ago, I moved everything to my D Drive which caused a lot of glitches and bugs so I just moved it back to my C Drive. After that most of my steam games open fine, but when launching GTA V it starts up then says error code 115 "The game was not launched via Steam Client". Then Steam shows up a install button for GTA V.

Is there a fix for this? maybe I need to move folders around?

Solution
moving the folder around is what caused the issue. steam just lost track of what was where so it forgot how to run the game. if you right click the game in your library and select properties-- local files. there is an integrity check that will scan the files and see if they are al there. it may even repair the install if something is missiing.

but more than likely you'll have to reinstall the game. some games just don't like being moved around. many work but many do not.
