Question Steam

I'm trying to create a Steam account, but am having no luck. I've tried 3 different email addresses, checked the spam folders in all and I have never received a confirmation email. When I enter my email, do the captcha, agree to the T&Cs and hit submit it takes me back to the top of the page and tells me to enter the captcha again. It does this over and over. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying it on the Steam app or the website?

I've tried it on both with the same results. I'm on an ASUS I7, 16G laptop, 100MbPS connection and I'm running FireFox. I am also running a VPN and 2 software firewalls. I don't know if any of that is relevant to the issue...

Maybe, I know steam can take some time but realistically it shouldn't be more then an hour or two tops.

Steam doesn't like VPNs. Try disabling the VPN and try again.

That worked! It didn't even occur to me until i posted my specs; I sometimes miss what's right in front of me. Thanks so much!
