I have a problem with Steam and "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2", I registered OK, and I purchased a new computer.

Steam will not allow me to install the game on my new computer.

Can any one help me?

I have tried to use the Steam Help, and the forum to no avail.

When you register a game with steam, it is tied to the steam account it was registered on. If you do not sign into steam with the same account, it will not be available to install/play.

You might think that obvious but you mentioned "registered OK" so I'm wondering if you setup a new (blank) steam account.

you'll need to log into the account you bought the game on. you will also need access to the email address you used for that account as the first time you try to access you account on a new pc you will need to go through the process of verifying that the new computer does indeed belong to that account holder. it's fairly quick & simple.
