MB: Asrock steellegend b550
CPU: 5800x
Gpu: Gigabyte gaming 8g 1070ti
ram: crucial balistix 3200 cl 16
drives: corsair mp600, samsaung evo 850, and a wd hdd...

so ihave some troubles while testing latency with latency mon ...

https://ibb.co/0jjcjz0

the problem is my system doesnt run smove i dont know why i have always problems with hitregs when playing games and sometimes short stutters...

but i dont know where they come from i testet almost everything from sfc/scannow than dism... ram tst ok benchmarks a ok. drivers where uninstalled with ddu and a fresh windows caused the same spikes 2

but i noticed something when the gpu ist pluged in it rest on the chipset/ m.2 heatsink (with 0 place underneath it, not even for a sheet of paper )and is would say 1 side is higher, about 1 or to 2 mm higher. the higher side is the the side showing to the inside of the pc ..

is it possible that the gpu doesnt seat right in the slot. and could i dismantle the armor heatsink without causing problems to the chipset cooling . to test it out

What mobo BIOS version are you running?
its been bought with the latest bios version .. 2.10 i knew that because i had to pay 30 euro for bios update that the firm didnt had to do ... because it was shipped with the latest version

i did some isr/dpc tracing files but dont have a clue what they sould tell me and how i use the information ... with latency mon in idle the highest dpc peaks ar around 250-500 most nvlddmkm, ntoskernel, and storport.sys, dxgkrnl... when i start a game it rushes up to over 500 sometimes over 1000 but than most of the time its nvlddmkm with 5-10 counts in 2 minutes... same with dpc lat most of the time its 10-50 with spikes upt t0 around 1000 most 998

this is without firefox open

i found out that i can use different testing modes in latency moon and i tested kernel timer latency and these spike are quite high
