By the color of the headstrap, it looks like the pictures in the review are from the Arctis Nova 5X (X for XBOX).
Looking at the pictures and manual for the Nova 5 (no X), it looks like they've removed the ChatMix dial.

I'm unable to find any info on how chatmix is supported without the on-ear dial
