SteelSeries Sensei disconnecting frequently.

So recently my mouse has been disconnecting and reconnecting. I hear the windows sound that you hear when you plug something in. Sometimes it gives me a usb not recognized notification and I have to plug the mouse back in or just wait a while. Usually it only disconnects for about 2 seconds but this is really not good for gaming. When I try using steelseries fix it stops at 41% and gives a message "cannot open bootloader device". I then try it again and it picks up where it was before at 41% and then finishes but I still get problems.

Take the usb out from the mouse and take a cloth and rub the metal plating, put the usb back in. See if you are still having issues.

After that,

If it is still not working.

Start the computer in safe mode, uninstall the steal-series drivers and then re-install the drivers.

Reboot and try again.

It isn't a headset it's a mouse and it is wired.

Sorry, I think i'm a bit loopy at the moment due to lack of sleep...

Yeah just clean the frickin port (silver or gold thing) I'm not directing any bad comments at you, just tired.
