Hi i just got my first gaming mouse from one of my friends. I want to know what are the best dpi settings or what settings are you guys using on you gaming mice because i am playing at 3200dpi and some people say that is to high. I play RTS(Starcraft 2 , Total war series) ,RPG(Torchligth,SKyrim) and FPS(Cod Bo2,BF3) games. What would the best dpi settings for those types. Also what sensitivity should i set in game or should i put sensitivity on lowest and adjust the dpi to the appropriate setting. Please help i am really new at this

IMHO the best DPI is what is comfortable for you. I use mine in 1600DPI and it's really sensitive. I like to be able to move the mouse pointer from left to right without lifting and moving the mouse. Start out at whatever your mouse is defaulted at and move up from there till you find a comfortable setting. It doesn't really matter in the games what DPI you use as long as you can control it without having to fight with the mouse.
