Is it possible for the SS Sensei to have 1:1 Tracking and no hardware acceleration? I find this to be hard to believe because it is a laser mouse. I found out in SS's Website of the Sensei.

If you scroll down to the specifications tab, then to the sensor specs, it say
SENSOR
Sensor Name: ADNS9500
Sensor Type: Lazer
CPI: Increments from 1 to 5700
IPS: 150
Polling Rate: 1 ms
Zero Hardware Acceleration
Tracking Accuracy: 1:1

Solution
if you go off what people are saying about the ADNS9500 and from sites that reportedly tested it then it has variable positive acceleration built in which would make me skeptical as well as to SS's claim of zero. i would figure upwards of perhaps 5% is more accurate based on what i've seen.

generally all mice have some acceleration built in though if its constant and small its certainly easier to deal with. uneven or large acceleration can be a problem for some people. yes, even optical mice can have acceleration despite all the optical vs laser hate out there though its often much less than on most laser mice.

while acceleration does certainly have impact on perceived performance, in most cases its not much of an issue if its...
